As part of the company’s commitment to safety and to meeting insurance requirements, the team at Ballon Sawdust engaged Xenon to carry out a complete Fire Alarm System upgrade and provide additional Thermal Imaging CCTV Heat Detection to mitigate risk in high-risk areas.

The Fire Alarm System provided was designed to meet Irish Fire Alarm Standard IS3218 requirements and to provide reliable operation in a dusty industrial environment.

Supplementary Thermal Imaging Cameras were installed in higher-risk areas and used advance video analytics and thermal imaging technology to provide early detection and notification of heat build-up. This allows operators on site to carry out remedial
