How Periodic Electrical Testing Benefits Your Business

Prevent Electrical Accidents & Injuries

Regular inspections of your business' electrical installation can help prevent injuries from faulty electrical equipment or damaged wiring. Electrical installations can deteriorate over time, so it's essential to identify potential risks that may cause electric shocks or fire hazards.

Meet Insurance Requirements

Ensuring that your building's electrical installation is periodically tested and certified by a Registered Electrical Contractor reduces the risk of electrical accidents or fire hazards caused by faulty electrical equipment, helping lower your insurance liability.

Prevent Unexpected Failure

Electrical testing not only ensures that your building's electrical installation is safe, but it can also ensure that electrical equipment is in good working condition. This helps reduce the risk of unexpected equipment failure and extends the lifetime of your electrical equipment.

Ensure Health & Safety Legal Compliance

To ensure the safety of staff and visitors to your business premises, Electrical Periodic Inspection and Testing is a requirement of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work - (General Application) Regulations 2007. For more information see the Guidance-Note HSA website.

Comply with Irish Electrical Standards

Electrical Testing and Verification is a process that allows you to have confidence in your building's electrical installation. This process ensures that your installation complies with the National Rules for Electrical Installations (ET101).
